Other Volunteer Opportunities

Earn School Hours

Students can earn service hours by donating much-needed items listed on our Donations Page—just make sure all items are brand new to receive credit. Click here for a list of approved items.

Please note: Dog Walking hours do not qualify for school or business service credit unless you're 18 or older and committing to over 50 hours.

Community Service

To apply for court-mandated community service, you must visit Tri-County Animal Rescue in person, to complete your application.

Requirements:
You must bring official court documentation that clearly states your charges and the number of hours required. (Please note: we do not accept all types of charges.)

You must present a valid photo ID and proof of health insurance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applicants without active health insurance coverage.

Service hours begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Late arrivals may not be allowed to participate that day.

Please note: Tri-County Animal Rescue reserves the right to deny service hour requests at our discretion.
